PRP
Platelets gathered from your own blood
help strengthen your skin's natural ability to recover
PRP
PRP is a treatment in which your own blood is drawn and platelet-concentrated plasma is separated with a centrifuge, then injected directly into areas that need improvement. Using the growth factors contained in platelets, it helps damaged tissue recover and supports skin regeneration and collagen production. By activating the skin's natural recovery process, it helps improve elasticity and the skin environment and enhances the skin's own regenerative capacity. Results vary from person to person.

Recovery is something your body already does
Platelets in the blood are gathered by centrifugation
and injected directly into the areas that need improvement.
What platelets do

Platelets are the first cells to gather and start recovery when a wound occurs.
They contain growth factors. Why we concentrate them

Platelets scattered throughout the blood are gathered in one place by centrifugation
and delivered at a higher concentration where needed. What changes

As the recovery process speeds up, collagen production
follows, changing the skin environment itself.

The source is your own blood
Drawn blood is placed in a centrifuge and only the platelet-concentrated plasma is separated. No outside components are added. Only what comes from your own blood goes back in.

A signal that starts recovery
Platelets contain growth factors that trigger tissue recovery. These components are delivered directly to the areas that need improvement, supporting both the recovery of damaged tissue and collagen production.

Two areas: skin and scalp
It is applied not only to facial skin but also to the scalp, often to care for the environment where hair grows. Where to inject is decided during consultation.
PRP vs stem cells: what's the difference?
Stem cells | Comparison | PRP |
|---|---|---|
Your own venous blood | Source | Your own blood |
Hematopoietic stem cells and various growth factors | What is separated | Platelet-concentrated plasma |
Skin, vein, scalp | Injection sites | Skin, scalp |
The injected area and overall condition | Scope | The injected area itself |
When looking at both the area and overall condition | Best for | When focusing on a single area |
Who PRP treatment is recommended for
Those who feel their skin regenerates more slowly
Those who feel their elasticity and skin environment have declined
Those who prefer self-derived components over external preparations
Those concerned about their scalp and hair environment
Violacell’s precise pre-treatment diagnosis
PRP 3-STEP design
Where to inject is decided after assessing your condition.
Violacell first narrows down the areas with diagnostic results before drawing blood.

STEP 01 ·Photo design
Every visitor receives a complimentary Evelab AI diagnosis.
A single facial scan shows in numbers where and how much the face has sagged, and the condition of the skin.
We review the results together during the first consultation.
STEP 02 ·Custom design
Based on the analysis report, our medical team personally designs your PRP treatment.
Considering areas that need regeneration, the degree of lost elasticity and skin thickness by area,
we design the target areas, injection points and volume for each.
STEP 03 ·Separation and injection
Drawn blood is placed in a centrifuge to separate platelet-concentrated plasma.
Our medical team injects the separated plasma directly into the designed areas.
Violacell’s step-by-step pain management
Violacell pain care system
Because PRP involves drawing blood and injecting it again, pain management is important.
Numbing cream
Several layers of numbing cream are applied, then covered with a dedicated film that adheres to the skin to boost absorption.
Local anesthetic injection
Sensitive areas receive an additional local anesthetic injection to further reduce pain and enhance numbing.
Sleep anesthesia
If you are sensitive to pain, sedation eases anxiety and tension while our medical team monitors you in real time.
Icing
Cooling before and after treatment dulls skin nerves and calms swelling and heat.
Pain-relief IV
A nutrient IV eases pain during treatment and supports recovery afterward.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
How is it different from stem cell treatment?
Both treatments use your own blood. PRP separates platelet-concentrated plasma and injects it into a focused area of the skin or scalp, while stem cell treatment separates hematopoietic stem cells and various growth factors and injects them through the route needed: skin, vein or scalp. Our medical team will decide with you which treatment suits you during consultation.
Can it be used on the scalp?
Yes, it is applied to the scalp as well as facial skin, often to care for the environment where hair grows. The injection area is decided based on diagnostic results and consultation.
How many sessions do I need?
The number of sessions and intervals depend on your skin and scalp condition and your goals. Our medical team will advise you individually during consultation. The degree of response and how long it lasts vary from person to person.
