Custom thread lifting

Custom thread lifting inserts threads beneath the skin without incisions to lift and anchor sagging tissue in the desired direction. At Violacell, we set the thread type, insertion depth, direction and number separately for each area. Absorbable threads are used as standard, and some products combine a non-absorbable suture with absorbable cones. The lifted direction holds from right after insertion, and collagen production continues around the threads. How long results last varies by individual.

Not all sagging is the same

The face does not descend evenly in a single direction.
Custom thread lifting first divides the face into areas, then plans each area separately.

A different direction for each area
The forehead, nasolabial folds and under-chin area descend in different directions and to different depths. A single path cannot address them all.
A different thread for each area
Areas that need lifting force and areas that need texture refinement call for different threads. The insertion layer is also chosen by area.
Direction comes first
We first decide which way and how far to lift, then map the path. The number of threads is decided after that.

A program built area by area
The face is divided into forehead, front cheeks, nasolabial folds, deep cheeks and double chin, and the thread type, insertion direction and number are set for each.
Threads go only where they are needed. You can choose the areas you want lifted.
Separate thread types and insertion layers
Barbed threads hook and pull sagging tissue, while smooth threads are used to refine skin texture and elasticity.
Both are placed together, dividing lifting force and texture refinement within one design.
The lifting direction is decided first
Even in the same area, results differ depending on the direction of lift. We mark the insertion paths and lifting directions on the skin before placing the threads.
There is no incision or surgical lifting, so you can return to daily life the same day. Swelling and how long results last vary from person to person.

Based on the analysis report, our medical team personally designs your custom thread lifting.
Considering face shape, sagging areas, the direction tissue has descended and skin thickness by area,
we design the thread type, insertion layer, direction and number for each area.
STEP 03 ·Vector design
We mark the insertion paths and lifting directions directly on the skin, then place the threads with a cannula.
During placement, we check symmetry and the degree of lift together in a mirror and adjust as needed.
