Design filler

Violacell Design Filler is a design-led signature program that distributes hyaluronic acid filler across the face based on its overall proportions. Rather than filling a single area, the treatment centers on first deciding where to fill. After assessing frontal and profile proportions as well as tissue thickness and movement in each area, we set the placement, the order, and the amount for each area. Results and duration vary from person to person.

We assess frontal and profile proportions, hollowness in each area, and left–right asymmetry.
Based on these findings, we decide which areas to fill and in what order.

Areas that cast shadows
Shadowed areas such as nasolabial folds and under-eyes stand out in the mirror. These are the areas patients most often point to during consultations.
Areas that are actually hollow
When the temples and front cheeks lose volume, nasolabial folds can look deeper.
The area you notice may differ from the area that needs filling.
Product and volume come after the plan
The product and amount are chosen only after the areas and order are set. We do not pick a product first and fit the areas to it.

The forehead takes up a large part of the face, so we first look at overall proportion and shape. Filler is placed in the forehead and temples to suit your proportions and features, creating natural curves and volume.

When volume in the side cheeks and below the cheekbones decreases with age, the cheekbones stand out and the face can look angular. Hollow areas and the temples are filled together to suit your bone structure, softening the facial line.

We first look at your overall features and impression, then design the lip shape. Lip filler adds volume, and mouth-corner Botox can be added to create lips that suit your face.

Checking frontal and profile proportions
From the front, we check facial width proportions and left-right asymmetry; from the side, we check the heights formed by the forehead, nose and chin. These findings set the reference lines.
With proportion as the reference, the areas not to fill are decided as well. Areas to fill and areas to leave are decided within the same design.
Designing the filling order
Filling the temples changes how deep the shadow of the nasolabial folds looks. We check the result of one area before moving on to the next.
We separate areas to fill first from areas to check later. Instead of filling everything at once, we proceed in order, checking as we go.
Distributing the volume by area
The total volume set in the design is divided among the areas. We do not add extra volume separately for each area.
Concentrating filler in one area raises only that area and throws off proportion. We inject small amounts at a time, checking left-right balance and height. The degree of change and how long it lasts vary from person to person.

Every visitor receives a complimentary Evelab AI diagnosis.
A single facial scan shows in numbers where and how much the face has sagged, and the condition of the skin.
We review the results together during the first consultation.
STEP 02 ·Custom design
Based on the analysis report, our medical team personally designs your design filler treatment.
Considering frontal and profile proportions, hollowness and asymmetry by area, and tissue thickness and movement,
we design the areas to fill, the filling order and the volume for each area.
STEP 03 ·Balance design
Before treatment, the designed points are marked on the face to check left-right balance,
then small amounts are injected in the planned order while proportions between areas are checked again.

Frequently asked questions

When will I see results?

You can see a change in volume right after injection. Early on, swelling may make the area look fuller than it will be, and it settles over a few days. How long results last depends on the area, the product used and your metabolism, and varies from person to person.
